Meet Clyde

I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, however I have lived in the Treasure Valley for over 25 years. My academic journey began at LSU in Shreveport, where I earned an undergraduate degree in accounting. Then on to the University of Dallas, where I graduated with an MBA in Corporate Finance, earning the distinction of Honors for my exemplary performance.

The early chapters of my professional life were dedicated to serving my country in the US Army as a Field Artillery officer, a role that instilled discipline and commitment in me. My dedication earned me an honorable discharge after four years of service. My path then shifted to the corporate world, as I embarked on a 7-year journey with Oscar Mayer Foods and its parent company Kraft Foods. From manufacturing and warehousing supervision, I ascended to the prestigious role of National Logistics Manager for the monumental $650M Kraft Mac & Cheese business.

My prowess in the corporate arena deepened through a 16-year consulting tenure with KPMG and the Hackett Group. During this period, I honed my expertise in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, and Procurement. My final role at Hackett as an Associate Principal and practice leader underscored my ability to innovate and drive efficiency. This prowess was further demonstrated during my 8-year executive leadership stints at globally recognized companies like Visa, Freeman, Neustar, and Dynata. Across these roles, I spearheaded transformative improvements in areas such as procurement, contracting, real estate, and facilities management, while skillfully managing multi-million-dollar budgets across diverse international contexts.

At present, I work for the Sigma Chi International Fraternity Headquarters as a Regional Chapter Support Consultant. I assist 35 undergraduate chapters and their top ten officers in the operation of their chapters. I support them with guidance, training, tools & templates, best practices, reporting & analytics, and advice about all things chapter operations. I am also the proud owner of Creek Pointe Consulting, LLC, a venture dedicated to elevating clients' performance and optimizing their budgets. And I wear the President and Chief Operating Officer hat for ShortTable (www.shorttable.com), a dynamic company that crafts and markets small picnic tables. My aptitude in budgeting, finance, fleet operations, and myriad other domains finds expression in my leadership roles.

With a wealth of experience in budgeting, finance, operations, and more, I am primed to contribute meaningfully to the endeavors I engage in.
